You are invited to celebrate the Moon Festival on Monday evening, September 24th. The Moon Festival (also known as Mid-autumn Festival, in Chinese”中秋节” Zhōngqiū Jié) is the second most important festival in the Chinese calendar. It’s a time of thanksgiving when people get together to celebrate the end of the summer harvest season. It is also an occasion for outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes and enjoy the view of the full moon, a symbol of harmony and unity. The details and schedule are in the attached flyer. We will need some parent volunteers to set up the amphitheater & playground, sell moon akes/ glow sticks/water/oranges and do clean-up at the end. Thank you for your support.
