On Thursday, October 17th, 2024 our 8th-grade students will attend a county-wide event focused on drug prevention given by Rocky Heron, a former DEA agent of 31 years. His presentations motivate students to focus on their choices and to respect their potential in life. The student presentations cover fentanyl, other synthetic drugs, cannabis/THC and TUPE/Vaping. Our students who attended last year found it thought provoking and worthwhile.
