Course Description
This entry level class provides a foundation in the elements and principles of design as well as the exploration of various methods, materials, and techniques in art making. Students will study and create using line, shape, form, color, value, texture, space, balance, unity, variety, emphasis, pattern, contrast, proportion and rhythm. These components set students up to create visually engaging work in any medium and further art class.
