Theater Booster Club

 

The RSA Theater Booster Club (TBC) is a parent organization that seeks to support the performing arts programs within Redding school of the Arts. The performances include the annual Talent Showcase, grade level music performances, the Middles School and Theme Day Musicals, and many other performances that take place throughout the school year. There are many opportunities for our students’ families to get involved and make a real difference for our students.  We are always looking for adult volunteers to be part of the different committees of TBC (Costumes, Make-up, Set construction, Program design, T-shirt sales, etc).  The hours you volunteer count towards the total hours required by RSA for parent involvement.  Your child does not need to be in the middle school production for you to be part of TBC.

 

TBC meets monthly to share updates from committees and ensure all performing arts events are fully supported.  All are welcome! Meetings are scheduled for:  August 26, September 30, October 28, November 18, December 16, January 27, February 24, March 24, April 28, and May 19 at 8:05 AM onsite at RSA.

Current High-Priority Volunteer Openings:

 

Concessions Chairperson

Collect food and drink donations from RSA families, set up and clean up concession tables at RSA events, sell items to raise funds to support performing arts at RSA.

Christmas Float Construction

Build and decorate Wizard of Oz themed parade float.  Trailer, plans, and many materials provided.  Other materials reimbursable.  Includes light construction, painting, and stringing lights.

Theater Booster Club Treasurer

Use Quickbooks to maintain financial records of club.  Write checks and oversee accounts.  Attend TBC meetings one Monday a month to report on financials.

Talent Showcase Decorations Prep

AT HOME TASK.  Cut out large circles and glue to create stage decorations.

Audition Check-in Assistance

Help sign-in and supervise students as they wait for their audition time slot for Talent Showcase / Wizard of Oz.
