I went to school to be an elementary school teacher, but I've ended up doing all kinds of things centered around kids. I've managed my own daycare program; taught pre-K, kindergarten, first and second grade; worked at Girl Scouts of Northern California for 10 years, served as the librarian at RSA for 2 years, and I'm now in my 3rd year as a Homeschool teacher at RSA.

I'm currently taking ECE units to obtain certification as a TK teacher. 

I’m a graduate of Lassen High School.  Go Grizzlies!

Having a positive growth mindset is something I work to embody every day.  To me, being positive means finding the good and the beauty in all people, situations and things. 

Growth mindset simply means that I am a life-long learner who is growing all the time.  If something is hard for me, I will work hard at it to achieve success.  I don’t believe that people are fixed in being either good or bad at something.  With hard work and a positive attitude, we can make things happen. 

I wear a lot of LIFE IS GOOD t-shirts.  They are super comfy and their messages spread good vibes.
