About Mrs. Gerlach

Hey there! I’m in my 13th year of teaching and am thrilled to be diving into math full-time at RSA—my absolute favorite subject! My journey here has been quite a ride. I’ve taught in McCloud and Red Bluff, but before that, I ventured into marketing and business management, which took me from Kansas City to New York City.

While in NYC, I worked as a business manager for a voiceover coach, but the travel bug bit me hard. So, I moved to Prague, got my CertTESOL, and taught English to young kids. That experience was so fulfilling that it inspired me to return to California and earn my teaching credential.

I’m married to my amazing husband of nearly 6 years. We’re a household of two dogs, two cats, and a lot of football enthusiasm. He’s a Northern Minnesota native and a dedicated Vikings fan, while I’m a huge Kansas City Chiefs supporter—yep, we have some epic game-day rivalries at home!
